Grandma: 1 --- Uppity Grandchild: 0

I was telling my Grandma (from texas) about a recipe I love to make: Polenta with proscuitto, shallots and swiss chard... I was pretty freakin' proud of my fancy-self.

Her response?

"hm, sounds a lot like grits, fatback and collards to me".
