When arborists bake...

Coconut wood chips, marzipan mushrooms with cocoa dusted caps, nacho cheese flavored maggots eating blueberry jelly crotch rot, sour cream and onion crickets and a pumpkin yule log with cream cheese filling! That is a department holiday party I wish I could be at....

And the best part? After helping, she told me that I was her dream come true. Was it my hot new boots? Or those nacho cheese maggots?

Okay, I was good with it and thinking it was pretty cool until you got to the bugs. Ack!!! I still think it's amazing, but I don't think I could have eaten it after the bugs.

Wowser! Awesome cake! And everything so lifelike...

This is way better than the "kitty litter" cake that one of my coworkers made one year. It had something like rice crispies on top with partly melted tootsie rolls on top. Ugh.

You should all know... Sara was snacking on the BBQ flavored maggots while she decorated.

OMFG. That IS the most awesome cake ever. And that Sara is pretty smart - any woman who'd add nacho cheese maggots to a cake that gorgeous is totally a keeper.

What are 'nacho cheese maggots' and what kind of chain saw is a 'dolmar'?
But a nice looking cake.

I'm impressed in the way that I almost don't want to make a comment because I'm all jealous and snarky and wish I had done it myself.

"Nice job!" she says through gritted teeth....

I watched Bobby Flay do a Buche de Noel cook off with one of the best pastry chefs in the world and none of them looked any better than yours! WOW!
